I have been on Jdate for a few months, and try to write notes to a couple potential matches a week. I've not had a single successful interaction let alone a date. An occasional limp response, but plenty of fake profiles and scammers who disappear as soon as I ask them what their mother tongue is (strange sentence construction, etc).
I'm constantly matched with people who only want babes who are 20 years younger than I am, and people who only want to date 25 miles close to them when I am on the other side of the world.
Don't waste your money.
In summary, I would not recommend JDate to a friend.
